Luke Littler is one step away from immortality after qualifying for the final of the World Darts Championship at the age of 16.
The English sensation was in sublime form as he cruised to a 6-2 victory over 2018 champion Rob Cross in Wednesday morning’s semi-final.
“It’s utterly mind-boggling,” one commentator said.
Littler, who has captured the imagination of the British public and the wider darts world, will face the winner of a semi-final between Luke Humphries and Scott Williams.
“It’s crazy to think I’m in a world championship final on my debut,” Littler said. “I was lucky to win one game.
“I’ve got no words.”
