Disturbing image reveals the dire state of Australia's hospital system

Concerns have been raised about overcrowding in Australian hospitals after a photo emerged of a woman laying on the ground of an emergency room.

The image, taken last month, shows a woman at Blacktown Hospital's new Emergency Department waiting room in Western Sydney, with a blanket, pillow and her belongings scattered across the floor in a makeshift bed.
