On Nov. 2, professional wrestling icon Bill Goldberg announced that he would have a retirement match on WWE television next year on the SEC Network.

"Here's the deal," Goldberg said. "The news of the day is that, per three executives — Nick Khan, Chris Legentil, and Paul Levesque — in 2025, Goldberg is having his retirement match!"
