Currently a 42 km long stretch of corridor with 9 stations is operational between Sahibabad and Meerut South. With this inauguration, the operational section of Namo Bharat Corridor will expand to 55 km, with a total of 11 stations. Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) will play an important role in connecting the national capital Delhi with major cities of NCR.

In such a situation, RRTS will be connected to cities around Delhi. This will not only save people's time but will also provide relief from air pollution in Delhi-NCR.
