Music superstar Drake has stunned fans with a private karaoke show in Melbourne as he warms up for the start of his national tour.

The 38-year-old Canadian rapper played an intimate 90-minute surprise set in front of a room full of fans screaming his lyrics ahead of the start of his Anita Max Win Tour, which kicks off in Perth on Tuesday February 4.

Drake took the stage at Bourke St venue Maison Batard’s Le Club in a set that included unreleased songs, and deep cuts for a 100-person crowd.

Playing songs including Pipe Down, Rich Baby Daddy, Faithful and Trust Issues, which he also posted on his Instagram.

Plenty of fans lost it over the performance.
