Two Bhutanese textile startup ideas were awarded Nu 50,000 each for their business ideas during a recent 15-day Basic Entrepreneurship Course focused on the textile sector, held at the Royal Textile Academy. Sixteen participants explored and developed innovative ideas within the textile industry of Bhutan, equipping themselves with essential entrepreneurial skills. Out of 12 pitches, Sonam Yangden and Choying Lhamo were awarded for their business concepts.
