The efforts of the British Prime Minister saved the position for Ukraine

The British Prime Minister made diplomatic efforts for 48 hours to improve the position for the President of Ukraine after a storm meeting in the White House.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer watched the tension between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from the office in building No. 10 Downing Street, just after he returned to London from the visit to Washington.

The last week's visit to Washington's Washington was considered to be quite successful in creating a bridge between the United States and Europe on Ukraine, but what happened in the oval room between Mr. Trump and Mr. Zelensky made the head of the British government worried.

Trump attacked Mr. Zelensky, accused Ukraine "ungrateful", "disrespectful" and "betting with World War III". This is not what the British government expects, especially before Zelensky's visit to London to attend the summit with 18 European leaders.

"No one wants to witness that," Mr. Starmer shared later with the BBC, describing the dialogue in the oval room as a "very unsightly" scene.
