Tropical Cyclone Alfred is continuing “to move slowly towards the southeast Queensland coast”, which it’s now predicted to cross at 10am Saturday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s (BOM) latest tracking map.

The cyclone has seen supermarkets forced to put buying limits on bottled water in Coles and Woolworths as retailers rush to replenish stock that is being snapped up by concerned Aussies.
