World Rugby rankings: Ireland narrowly avoid double fall as All Blacks close in on Springboks

Ireland have fallen down the World Rugby rankings following their Six Nations defeat to France in Dublin on Saturday.

After winning their opening three fixtures in the Championship, Simon Easterby’s side were chasing a Grand Slam but a 42-27 defeat to France not only ended those hopes but has also seen them surrender second place in the rankings.
