US singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams paused her Dublin gig on Monday night to give a heartfelt tribute to a fan, who died last year.

A clip of the emotional moment went viral on TikTok, where the 25-year-old singer stopped her show after spotting a fan holding a sign in honour of their friend Lelise, known as Lolly.

The sign, which featured Lolly’s face, bore the words, “We miss you and we are sorry”, alongside the dates of their friend’s birth and the date of their loss.

The fan’s friends, who had gathered at the concert, were holding the sign in tribute. The event also marked the six-month anniversary of Lolly’s death and was a gig for which Lolly originally had tickets.
