The organizations supporting the displaced are highly dependent on US financing via the USA International Development Agency, and this support hinders the progress of the basic projects and programs provided to them and to rehabilitate them.

BAGHDAD- In a move aimed at addressing the effects of the United States' decision to suspend its support for the humanitarian organizations operating in Iraq, the National Security Adviser in Baghdad held a meeting to discuss ways to compensate for the shortage and secure the continuation of vital projects that serve the displaced and returnees from the Syrian Hall camp.

The Iraqi government, in coordination with the United Nations, has begun since 2021 in carrying out the operations of the transfer of Iraqi families from the "Hall" camp to the Al -Amal Center in the "Al -Jada" camp in Nineveh Governorate, north of the capital, Baghdad, with the aim of rehabilitating them and integrating them into the local community.

The horror camp is one of the largest camps in northeastern Syria and controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and led by the Kurdish People's Protection Units.
