Virginia Giuffre's lawyer says pals are waiting for update after crash

Jeffrey Epstein victim Virgina Giuffre's lawyer has said her friends are waiting for an update after she revealed she has just days to live following a crash with a school bus.

On Sunday, Ms Giuffre, née Roberts, 41, shared a photograph to Instagram of herself from her hospital bed, covered in bruises sustained in the smash.

Ms Giuffre - who was sex trafficked by Epstein and claims she was sexually assaulted as a teenager by Prince Andrew - said she is now suffering from kidney failure and begged to see her children 'one last time' before she dies after doctors said she had just four days to live.

Brad Edwards, a US lawyer who represented Ms Giuffre in her previous legal cases, said it was a 'very bad situation'.

He said they were 'hoping for better news in the coming days' and that he hoped Ms Giuffre would pull through with good medical care.

In a statement given to the BBC, her spokesperson, Dini von Mueffing, said: 'Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital. She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.'
