On March 28, 2025, Taiwan's Legal Affairs Bureau (MJIB) announced that it had conducted a simultaneous investigation into illegally pulling out Taiwan's technical personnel, including 11 Chinese companies, including China's major semiconductor company, International Core Accumulation Electric Route Manufacturing (SMIC), which is a major Chinese semiconductor company.
