The 2026 Mercedes-AMG E53 wagon might not come with a V8, but it does come with 600 horsepower. It is also coming to the US. For real. And hey, at least it uses a 3.0-liter inline-six and not the four-pot that AMG tunes to the stratosphere but for some reason just can't make it catch on.
Audi's RS6 Avant is the hyperwagon that has been on the market here the longest. It has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 pumping out 621 horsepower. The BMW M5 Touring came along second, offering 4.4 liters and 717 horsepower from a PHEV system.
