‘It was ridiculous’ – Sean Paul fans angry as star plays for 45 minutes at Dublin gig

Fans who attended dancehall artist Sean Paul’s Dublin concert last night are calling for a refund, after some described the gig as an “absolute disgrace”.

The Grammy Award-winning star was appearing at the 3Arena alongside Ashanti to kick off their Bring It Tour, which will visit 13 cities across the UK and Ireland.

Despite being due on stage around 9pm, fans reported that Sean Paul left them waiting until 10.30pm, and then played for less than an hour.

Others claimed Ashanti performed for longer than the act they had “paid to see”, and called on organisers to “strongly consider refunds”.

Ashley Chadamoyo (23), who attended the gig, said it was “shocking”.

“I’m not sure that’s even the word to use because after talking to people at the gig, apparently Nicki Minaj was worse, but it was not good,” she said.

“He [Sean Paul] didn’t come on until 10.30pm, played until 11.15pm, so he was on stage for about 45 minutes.
