"Young women" seek to keep the title of "West Asia" at the expense of Palestine

AMMAN - The National Football Under -20 football team is looking to retain the title of the fifth edition of the West Asian Championship for young women, when its Palestinian counterpart meets at three o'clock this afternoon at the Aqaba Development Stadium, in the final scene of the tournament.
The national team hopes to continue its strong presence and the distinguished results in the current tournament, under the leadership of coach Hossam Abu Raysh, after he won all the first round matches, by overcoming the Syrian team (2-0), and its superiority over the Palestinian team (3-0), and finally overcoming Kuwait (1-0).
The "young women" won the title of the fourth last version, which also took place at the Aqaba stadium at the end of last year, in the championship that was held on the league system from one stage, and the national team occupied the lead with 7 points from two wins and a draw.
The young women team managed to win the West Asian title in the first edition, which was held in the year 2018 in Lebanon, while in the third place in the second edition that took place in Bahrain in 2019, and was in the same center in the third edition that took place in Lebanon in 2022.
The national team is looking to rise to the coronation platform for the third time in its history and the second in a row, and break the partnership with the Lebanese team, which has two titles in this tournament, the most prominent absent from the current tournament after his apology for not participating.
Abu Rayash enters the confrontation with the aim of scoring the fourth consecutive victory and trying to get out of a clean net throughout the tournament in order to control individual prizes as well, while emphasizing the team's advantage over the rest of the participating teams.
