"Baha Jordan" .. a global rally with tourist and economic aspects

AMMAN - The Paha International Rally, which was organized by the Jordanian car sport, and the Al -Bhaa Festival organized by the Jordanian Olympic Committee, succeeded in reviving the tourist and economic movements in the city of Aqaba recently, stressing the growing role of sports events in supporting the vital sectors in the Kingdom. The two events came as a major tributary for two vital sectors that were focused on by the organizing authorities, the first of which is the tourism sector, by investing the natural and historical ingredients that the Kingdom abounds to attract visitors and investments, and the second is the economic sector, by moving the local market wheel during the days of competitions, and stimulating commercial and service activity in Aqaba. The Al -Baha Festival was a qualitative addition, by organizing various sporting activities that won the admiration of the attendees from families, youth and visitors to the city, which witnessed a remarkable public overcrowding throughout the effectiveness of the event, which contributed to creating a vital and enthusiastic atmosphere in conjunction with the Jordan Rally. Stakers in the tourism and economic sectors stressed that the rally contributed to the promotion of Jordan globally as a tourist destination of geographical diversity and civilization, and presented an innovative experience that combines engines, adventure and exploration of natural beauty, especially in the legendary Wadi Rum region. During the race days, Aqaba witnessed an active marketing and commercial activity by visitors and participants, which contributed to the revitalization of the economic movement in the city, thanks to the large public presence over the course of three days, as the city embraced two world -class sporting activities. The activities included six qualitative races, most notably Baha Jordan, the second round of the World Cup and the Middle East Country Country "Via Baha", the third round of the World Cup for the category of motorcycles and the four -wheel bicycles "Kawads" within the "Fim Baha" series, the second round of the Asian Cup for the same category, Paha National, and the Rally of the Moon Valley for navigation. About 90 contestants from different countries of the world participated in the races, through their participation and experiences, a bright picture of Jordan, in which they highlighted the geographical and cultural diversity and picturesque tourist attractions, which they visited such as Petra, the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum and Aqaba. Although the race is sporting by nature, it also constitutes an effective means of environmental and tourism promotion, by integrating sports competition by exploring the various nature and terrain that the Kingdom enjoys, giving visitors and participants a unique and integrated experience. The Paha Jordan Rally has become one of the most important tools for the tourist promotion of the Kingdom, due to the environmental and cultural diversity it reflects, and the popular and popular spirit of it for various nationalities, which enhances Jordan's image as a country capable of hosting major sporting events with efficiency and professionalism. The last version of the rally was characterized by a high professional organization, and the provision of full logistical support, security and safety for the contestants, as well as wide media coverage, whether through official channels or through the content that the participants published on their accounts on social media, which met with a global interaction. The methods of promoting Jordan were not limited to media coverage, but also extended to the videos published by the contestants themselves, which expressed their fascination with the beauty of the Jordanian regions, and highlighted the bright face of the Kingdom in the eyes of the participants and the masses.
