But many people don't know that Chery is the earliest company in China to develop hybrid technology in hybrid technology, and also the car company with the best hybrid technology, the fastest growth in the hybrid vehicle sector, and the most hybrid technology equipped with models." On April 10, the press conference of Chery Automobile Hybrid Night and Open Source Plan was held in Wuhu, Anhui. Chery developed hybrid technology dates back 24 years ago. Yin Tongyue said: "As early as 2001, when Chery just obtained the test certification, we set up a special team to study the 'hybrid' technology. In 2004, we cooperated with Ricardo and German FEV to develop BSG and ISG hybrid systems, and arranged more than 30 engineers to go to the UK and Germany to work with them. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Chery A5 equipped with Chery's first generation hybrid debut on the Olympic team. This is the global debut of China's hybrid technology and also marks that Chery becomes the first car company in China to successfully develop a sedan platform hybrid system."
