Grussia in Tehran, before Muscat negotiations, does nuclear confidence come back?

While Iran is preparing to receive the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, as part of its negotiations with Washington on its nuclear file, questions show about the visit and the extent of Tehran's technical cooperation with the agency.

Tehran- Between the escalation of the diplomatic movement and political maneuver, the Iranian nuclear file entered a new stage of interactions, with Tehran announced the reception of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, before days of the start of a second "indirect" negotiation tour with the United States in the Omani capital, Muscat.

In parallel with these developments, the official Iranian "IRNA" agency quoted Kazem Gharib Apadi, Deputy Foreign Minister, that Grouosi will arrive in Iran this evening, and he will meet senior officials, including Iranian President Masoud Bouchakian, and the chief nuclear negotiator, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji.

For his part, Grossi wrote -through the X platform -that he will visit Tehran "to discuss ways to improve the agency's access to Iranian nuclear sites," stressing "the need to continue cooperation and communication with Iran, at a time when the need for diplomatic solutions is intensified."

The upcoming visit of Grouusi comes at a critical time, amid a significant decline in Iran's cooperation with the agency since the withdrawal of the administration of US President Donald Trump from the nuclear agreement in 2018, and Tehran gradually responded to reducing its obligations, including limiting the arrival of inspectors to sensitive sites.
