Elon Musk has accused his former homeland South Africa of "racist ownership". Musk claims that his company Starlink must not operate in the country because he is "not black". But the South African authorities state that Starlink has not applied for licenses to operate in the country, the BBC writes.

Elon Musk was born in Pretoria in South Africa in 1971. He moved to Canada 18 years later and became a US citizen in 2002.
