Moment over-exuberant dog chases his ball over a CLIFF and is rescued

Stacey Chadfield was taking a coastal walk in Angelsey, north Wales, on a route she had walked 'millions' of time yesterday when her excited six-year-old spaniel Ember landed in the sea.

A six-year-old spaniel has been successfully rescued by daring RNLI volunteers after jumping over a sea cliff and becoming stranded on a rock.

Stacey Chadfield was taking a coastal walk in Angelsey, north Wales, on a familiar route she had walked 'millions' of time yesterday when her beloved pet Ember 'decided to jump over a wall' and landed 'right into the sea below'.

Taking to the social media platform Facebook to share details of the alarming incident, Ms Chadfield said: 'You all know Ember is my baby, my whole world, she is my soul dog. She decided to jump over a wall after her ball that just happened to be a litttttle bit too high. 

'A couple saw her jump in and told me, I didn't see her, hear her. She had swam back and managed to get on a ledge below where I was stood, but then found herself stuck and too scared to get off.'
