Various delays with electric model rollouts at automakers must be wreaking havoc on vehicle replacement timelines. For example, it feels like the GMC Hummer EV is just starting to show up on the road in numbers great enough that you might see one in the wild. However, since it was first revealed in 2020 and went on sale in 2021, it's already time for a mid-cycle refresh.
It's still fresh in the minds of shoppers, and there's little chance GMC has hit anywhere close to the volume it had planned for, but still, the updates must come. Otherwise, the problems compound down the road. Accordingly, Hummer has just announced that it will reveal a refreshed 2026 Hummer EV on May 15th.
