Honda has announced its moving production of five-door Honda Civic models designated for the US market to its plant in Indiana. This will neatly sidestep the US president's 25 percent tariff on imported cars for Honda's popular small sedan. The Indiana plant already makes the regular gas-powered Civic, so it's not a big stretch for Honda to add the hybrid to its roster, but there will still be challenges. Among them, the automaker will still need to import parts from countries with tariffs applied to build Honda vehicles in the US, which also includes the CR-V.
