The Russian government has introduced a bill to the State Duma allowing stateless persons to enter into the Armed Forces, Interfax reports.
The explanatory note says that the document "is aimed at expanding the circle of persons who may enter military service under the contract."
Foreign citizens can now conclude contracts from the Ministry of Defense, but only in the posts of soldier and sergeant trains. The adoption of a new law equalizes the Apatrides in rights with foreigners.
