On April 17th, Subaru announced the prices for the new Forester.

The SPORT, which is equipped with a 1.8-liter gasoline direct injection turbo, costs 4,048,000 yen, while the SPORT EX, which is equipped with the EyeSight X, costs 143,000 yen, up 4,191,000 yen.

The strong hybrid model "X-BREAK S:HEV" with a strong outdoor taste is 4,202,000 yen, and the "X-BREAK S:HEV EX" equipped with EyeSight is 275,000 yen, up 4,477,000 yen.

The strong hybrid model "Premium S:HEV" that highlights the high-quality feel of genuine leather seats is available for 4,488,000 yen, while the "Premium S:HEV EX" equipped with EyeSight X is up 110,000 yen, for 4,598,000 yen.

With this full model change, the 6th generation Forester will be the 6th generation. Until now, it has been sold as a main model of Subaru, with demand for transfers from other manufacturers and many people under the age of 40, and has evolved in terms of both design and performance as an orthodox SUV. Should I buy a strong hybrid model? Or a direct injection turbo model?

The topic of the new Forester will likely be the strong hybrid. That doesn't mean that the Strong Hybrid model is necessarily a "buy".
