Israel acknowledged the mistake in the wrong shooting of the Gaza rescue team

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) today announced the results of the investigation of the country's troops opened fire to the rescue convoy near the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip on March 23, killing 15 people.

"The investigation pointed out a series of professional mistakes, command violations and incomplete reports on the incident. The first two shootings stem from misunderstandings in combat, when soldiers believe they were facing real threats from the enemy. The third incident regarding violations of orders in combat situation," IDF said.
