Hardy walkers brave the rain for Listowel’s Good Friday walks in aid of Kerry Hospice
Independent.ie -

The good weather that organisers of the Listowel Good Friday walk in aid of Kerry Hospice had hoped for did not materialise in the slightest with participants instead having to wrap up in their best rain gear as they took to the Greenway.
The event kick offed at 10am from outside St Patrick's Hall and from here, participants headed out onto the Greenway where they had have a choice of routes – 3km, 5km or 10km – to choose from. While most, with the weather on their minds, wisely chose the 5km option, there were some who threw caution to the wind and took off on the 10km trek...with some even running it!
