Shiraz - IRNA - Among the mountains of Mamasani, the Parsian Dam project, like an unattainable dream, has been on the ground for three decades. The semi -finished structure, which was supposed to water the thirst for agricultural land, the stagnant petrochemical industry and the dried lips of the people, is now known only for the repetitive promises of officials and its burial.
According to IRNA, the Fahlian River, the vital artery of southern Fars, has been looking forward to the Parsian Dam for many years. This massive project, which was launched in year 2, promises to reserve 2 million cubic meters of water and generate 2 MW of electricity, now only 5 % progress after 5 years. It is as if time stands on the slopes of Mamasani.
