Security consultant and public affairs analyst, Opialu Fabian, has urged President Bola Tinubu to rejig the security architecture in a bid to end the senseless killings in Benue, Plateau and other states.

The security expert particularly urged the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar to step aside to pave the way for more competent leader.

Fabian, who spoke while featuring on TVC News, lamented the recent wave of killings in Plateau, Benue and other states where over a hundred unsuspecting Nigerians were killed in less than a month.

He argued that the call for self-help by former Minister of Defence, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, indicated that those appointed to secure the nation are not competent enough to do the job.
