5 % increase in Iranian pistachio exports in the second half

TEHRAN- IRNA- Vice President of the Iranian National Pistachio Association's Board of Trustees announced a 5 % increase in Iranian pistachio exports in the second half of last year, saying that the increase in pistachio exports has brought Iran back to its world position.

Speaking to IRNA on Tuesday, Jalil Karbakhsh Ravari told IRNA about the impact of "chocolate" on increased Iranian pistachio exports, adding: "Currently, chocolate production is not enough to increase Iran's pistachio demand by 5 %, so these chocolates have not had much effect on our country's exports."

"Of course, Iran's pistachio brain exports to the UAE have increased due to consumption in chocolate," he said.
