‘Massive’ boost for Drogheda United as Douglas James-Taylor poised for comeback in Galway

DOUGLAS James-Taylor looks set to return to the Drogheda United squad for Friday’s clash with Galway United at Eamonn Deacy Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
The 23-year-old English striker, who is on loan from Walsall, suffered a quad injury in pre-season and hasn’t featured since last November’s Promotion/Relegation Play-off decider against Bray Wanderers, but he has been involved in the warm-up in Drogheda’s last two games and finally appears ready to feature.
The significance of his availability is not lost on manager Kevin Doherty after James-Taylor struck 13 goals in 20 appearances last season.
