Hyundai has overhauled the e-motor transmission that fits into its hybrid models, promising improved efficiency for its range of engines on future models to come soon, including rear-drive models. The new system will come to the recently-revealed updated 2026 Hyundai Palisade and the upcoming 2026 Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe SUVs before moving on to other models, from compact to large and luxurious.
