Benue insecurity: Tor Tiv holds closed door meeting with prominent sons, daughters

Paramount ruler, Tor Tiv VI, His Royal Majesty, James Ayatse, on Monday, convened a closed-door meeting with prominent Tiv sons and daughters at his palace in Gboko, Benue.

Speaking to journalists after the six-hour meeting, the traditional ruler said the gathering had further strengthened unity among the Tiv people.

DAILY POST reports that the meeting was to chart a path in addressing the insecurity and other pressing challenges confronting the Benue people.

Ayatse expressed optimism that the show of unity and shared commitment witnessed during the meeting could lay the foundation for collective efforts to restore peace, dignity, and stability across the land.
