The global head of technology research at Wedbush Securities, Dan Ives, has called on Tesla CEO, Elon Musk to leave the US President Donald Trump

The global head of technology research at Wedbush Securities, Dan Ives, has called on Tesla CEO, Elon Musk to leave the US President Donald Trump administration.

In a post on his X account, Ives urged Musk to get back to being CEO of Tesla full-time.

Ives’ comments follows the electric vehicle maker’s first quarter, Q1 earnings released on Tuesday.

“We believe Tesla along with Nvidia are two of the most disruptive technology companies on the globe over the coming years,” Ives wrote.

“BUT….Musk needs to leave the govt, take a step back on DOGE, and get back to being CEO of Tesla full-time in our view. Big earnings call for Musk Tuesday.”

Musk is currently leading the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE.
