Man (50s) arrested and charged over aggravated burglary in Meath

A man in his 50s has been arrested and charged in connection to an aggravated burglary in county Meath.

The man was detained and questioned by detectives as part of an investigation into an incident that saw a private house in Navan being targeted last Thursday evening.

Investigating officers made an almost immediate breakthrough in the case by arresting the man a short time later.
