Second Easter fire at historic Co Wicklow building sparks investigation

Wicklow County Fire Service responded to a fire at a historical building in Bray on Easter Monday. It is the second time the fire service has had to deal with a blaze at the site, which is being earmarked for over 50 council homes, over an Easter weekend.

The fire service was alerted to a fire at Rockbrae House in Bray at 14:07 on Easter Monday, April 21, when crews from both Bray and Greystones were mobilised to the incident. The crews dealt with a fire within Rockbrae House and had left the scene by 15:30, Wicklow County Fire Service confirmed.
