Gardaí appeal for witnesses after two women and two children seriously injured in two-car crash in Co Sligo

GardaÍ are appealing for witnesses following a serious two-car collision in Ballisodare on Monday afternoon.

Shortly before 2-30pm, Gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision on the N59 at Ballisodare.

The occupants of one vehicle, two adult females, aged in their 40s and 20s, along with a nine-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl were taken to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries.
