Kwara: Gov Abdulrazaq, security chiefs on security assessment of terrorised areas

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State and top military and intelligence chiefs, on Monday, conducted on the spot security assessment of Kaiama Local Government Area, where alleged terrorists group, ‘Mahmuda’ has held sway in the area and its environs.

Governor Abdulrazaq, top military and intelligence chiefs were in the area to assess security concerns and reinforce inter-agency collaboration across border communities, according to a statement by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, in Ilorin on Tuesday.

The statement explained that the visit was aimed at reinforcing inter-agency synergy and enhance situational awareness across border communities.
