The automotive industry has created some strange bedfellows over the decades. Toyota and Tesla, Mercedes-Benz and Swatch, even Toyota and BMW, resulting in the first Supra since the 90s. This one, though, might be the strangest. It puts two arch nemeses from the performance car field into the Thunderdome. Not to defeat each other, but to create a new car together.
It's not Ford and Chevrolet or Lamborghini and Ferrari. It might be even worse. It's Acura and Nissan, who reportedly could share a platform to create the next generations of both the NSX and GT-R.
