Books of condolences for Pope Francis open in Louth

Louth people will be able to express their sorrow at the death of Pope Francis this week by signing books of condolences in the Town Hall, Dundalk and Drogheda.
The Cathaoirleach of Dundalk Municipal District, Cllr Sean opened a book of condolence for the late Pope Francis, on Tuesday afternoon in the presence of Fr Mark O’Hagan PP and Director of Service Joe McGuinness at Dundalk Town Hall, Crowe Street. Fr Callum Young led a prayer of remembrance for Pope Francis before the book was opened.
In a social media post, Cllr Kelly shared that “ the book will be available for the people of Dundalk and surrounding areas to sign from 9.30am to 5.00pm daily for the rest of this week. Please let family, friends and neighbours know.”
