Sarah Palin loses defamation case against New York Times

Sarah Palin lost her defamation case against The New York Times after a jury ruled they did not libel the former Alaska governor. 

The jury deliberated a little over two hours before reaching its verdict after lawyers for Palin, 61, and the newspaper delivered closing arguments at a Manhattan federal court civil trial in its second week.

Jurors concluded that The New York Times did not libel former Palin for an error in a 2017 editorial that she says damaged her reputation, despite the editor's tearful apology.
