In March 2025, the issuance of microloans in Russia for the first time during all the time of observations exceeded the proposal of credit cards, follows from the statistics of Skering Bureau.

Over the reporting month, microfinance organizations (MFIs) were provided to customers of loans for 112.1 billion rubles, noted in one of the reviews of the BCI. And on new credit cards opened in March, the amount of the limit amounted to 108.1 billion rubles, the Skering Bureau said in response to a request from RBC. Prior to this, from at least 2020, the volume of extruders of microloans in Russia was significantly inferior to credit cards sales. The rapprochement of the indicators was observed only at the peak of crises of 2020 and 2022, but the MFIs had never previously overtook the banking segment of credit cards in terms of sales.
