Seomra Fiadh

Ballaghkeene N.S. celebrated the opening of Seomra Fiadh on Friday 4th April. The room is in memory of little Fiadh O’Connor, who sadly passed away on 5th April 2023.

The outdoor room is a fantastic addition to the school and is testament to the effort put in by family and volunteers in recent months, particularly Fiadh’s parents, Laura and Rory.

The multi-activity, outdoor learning room comes complete with chalk boards, swings, Lego stations, sand trays, timber benches and a synthetic grass floor. The room is bringing joy and happiness to all the pupils on a daily basis, just like Fiadh brought to her family and friends during her short life.
