Part of the M25 has been closed following a tanker fire, triggering six miles of traffic congestion for motorists during the busy morning rush hour.

Two lanes of the UK's busiest motorway have been closed this morning, with three fire engines at the scene. The incident occurred on the M25 anticlockwise between Junction 8 for A217 (Reigate) and Junction 7 for M23.
