When is the siren on Holocaust Day 2025?

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, at exactly 10:00 AM, a Holocaust and heroic Memorial Day siren will be heard across the country. The siren will last for two minutes, where the traffic is stopped on the roads and the public stands in memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. In the case of true alarm, rising and lowering sirens will hear, unlike the dementia.

Please note: On the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day (Wednesday, April 23, 2025) you will not be heard.

When will the businesses close on Holocaust Day 2025?

On Holocaust Memorial Day, April 23, 2025, all businesses will be closed from 7pm to 9pm the next day. Between the businesses that will be closed:

1. Places defined as "public pleasure" such as theater, movie theaters, shows, clubs
2. Simchat and Events
3. Swimming pools and gyms
4. Sports events
5. Cafes and restaurants, buffets and kiosks

Exceptions will continue to operate: Hotels and Lena services of hotels and pharmacies.
