Researchers from the National University of Singapore succeeded in generating electricity with high efficiency of rain water using a simple and inexpensive technology that depends on the flow of water in small tubes, recently published the results in the ACS Sentral Science patrol of the American Chemical Society.

The study proposes an innovative approach to power generation based on a concept called "flow of plug" instead of the continuous flow of water, and the researchers confirm that this discovery can make a qualitative shift in benefiting from rain as a clean and renewable source of energy, especially in urban areas and remote areas.
