Water UK wants the current fixed standing charge to be abolished amid a raft of changes the industry body is calling for.

Households with large gardens in England and Wales should be charged more for water, an industry body has said. Water UK said it will call for compulsory water metering and legislative changes to charging in its submission to a review into reform of the sector.
